GIFT VOUCHER PURCHASE AND USE TERMS
1. General provisions
These Gift Voucher Purchase and Use Terms set out the rules for the purchase, issue, delivery and use of Health Centar gift vouchers and for booking services with them.
Gift vouchers are available through the Health Centar online shop and can be used for services provided by HEALING j.d.o.o., Radnička cesta 20A, 10 000 Zagreb.
By purchasing a gift voucher, the buyer accepts these Terms as well as the Health Centar General Terms and Conditions.
2. Types of gift vouchers
Health Centar offers various types of gift vouchers in its online shop:
- Gift vouchers – vouchers of a specific monetary value, available in values from €40.00 to €2,300.00;
- Gift treatments – gift vouchers for a specific service or treatment;
- Health Centar programmes – gift vouchers for specially designed Health Centar programmes and service packages.
The content, value and terms of use of each gift voucher are stated with the specific product in the online shop.
A gift voucher may be used only for the service, treatment or programme for which it was issued, or up to the value stated on the voucher, depending on the type of gift voucher purchased.
The terms of use of individual vouchers may differ depending on the type of product and are considered an integral part of the offer shown in the online shop.
3. Purchasing a gift voucher
Gift vouchers can be purchased through the Health Centar online shop.
When purchasing, the buyer chooses:
- the type of gift voucher,
- the value of the gift voucher, where this option is offered,
- the number of gift vouchers,
- the details needed for delivery,
- the recipient's details, where applicable,
- a message to appear on the gift voucher, if this option is available.
The buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the information entered when purchasing, especially the email address to which the gift voucher is to be delivered.
4. Price and payment
The price of the gift voucher is stated with each product in the online shop and includes all applicable taxes.
Payment is made using the payment methods available in the online shop at the time of purchase.
The purchase is considered complete once payment has been successfully made, i.e. once payment has been confirmed through the chosen payment method.
5. Delivery of the gift voucher
Gift vouchers marked as virtual or eGift vouchers are delivered electronically to the email address provided at the time of purchase.
Where this option is available, the buyer can choose the recipient and the delivery date and add a personal message.
The buyer is responsible for delays in delivery caused by an incorrect or mistyped email address.
If the gift voucher has not been received after a successful purchase, the buyer should contact Health Centar using the official contact details.
6. Value of the gift voucher
The gift voucher is valid up to the amount, or for the service, stated on the voucher itself.
For gift vouchers of a specific monetary value, the available amount can be used for Health Centar services until the total value of the voucher has been used.
A gift voucher cannot be used to purchase another gift voucher.
7. Validity period
The gift voucher is valid for 60 days from the date of purchase, unless a different validity period is expressly stated on the specific gift voucher.
Once the validity period has expired, the gift voucher can no longer be used to book or use a service.
The validity period of the gift voucher is not automatically extended because the service was not used within that period.
8. Using the gift voucher
The gift voucher may be used by the person who holds it, regardless of who made the purchase, unless otherwise expressly stated for a particular gift voucher.
The gift voucher must be presented when using the service, or its validity must be verifiable at the request of Health Centar staff.
The gift voucher can be used for the services stated on the voucher or, for value vouchers, for services that can be paid for with its value.
The list of services may change, and use of the voucher is subject to the availability of individual services and appointments.
9. Booking an appointment with a gift voucher
To use a gift voucher, you need to book an appointment in advance, unless Health Centar expressly specifies otherwise for a particular service.
Appointments can be booked through the online booking system or by contacting Health Centar.
When booking, please mention that the service will be paid for with a gift voucher.
Booking an appointment does not extend the validity period of the gift voucher.
The gift voucher must be valid on the day the service is used.
10. Cancelling a booked appointment
If the user cannot attend a booked appointment, they must cancel or change it in good time.
Bookings made with a gift voucher are subject to the Health Centar Online Booking Terms, including the rules on cancellation, late arrival and no-shows.
In the event of a no-show without prior cancellation, Health Centar may apply the rules set out in the Online Booking Terms.
11. Using a value voucher for a more expensive service
If the price of the selected service is higher than the remaining amount on the gift voucher, the user can pay the difference up to the full price of the service using another available payment method.
If the price of the service is lower than the value of the gift voucher, the remaining amount can be used for other services, if the type and value of the specific gift voucher allow it.
12. Cash payout
The gift voucher cannot be exchanged for cash, nor can a payout of its monetary value be requested, unless such a right is mandatory under applicable regulations.
Any unused part of the gift voucher's value will not be paid out in cash.
13. Loss or unauthorised use of the voucher
The buyer or user is responsible for keeping the details and link needed to use the virtual gift voucher safe.
In the event of loss, unauthorised use or forwarding of the gift voucher to a third party, Health Centar is not liable for the use of the voucher if it was used before Health Centar was notified of the problem in good time.
If there is reasonable suspicion that a gift voucher is being misused, Health Centar may request additional verification of details before providing the service.
14. Refunds and the right of withdrawal
The purchase of a gift voucher through the online shop is subject to the provisions of applicable regulations on distance contracts and the consumer's right of withdrawal, where this right applies.
If the right of withdrawal is exercised, the refund will be made in accordance with the applicable regulations and terms of purchase.
If the gift voucher has already been used, or the service has already been provided in full, the right of withdrawal may be excluded in the cases provided for by law.

15. Unused gift vouchers
Only an unused gift voucher may be the subject of a refund request, where the legal conditions are met.
Expiry of the validity period does not give an automatic right to a refund or to an extension of the voucher's validity.
16. Changes to or cancellation of a service by Health Centar
If, for a justified reason, Health Centar is unable to provide the service for which the gift voucher was used, the user will be offered another suitable appointment or another suitable solution, depending on the circumstances.
Health Centar will make every effort to allow the gift voucher to be used within its value and validity period.
17. Personal data
Personal data collected when purchasing and using a gift voucher is processed for the purpose of processing the order, completing the purchase, delivering the gift voucher, communicating with the buyer and providing the service.
Personal data is processed in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.

18. Complaints
The buyer or user can submit a complaint about the purchase, delivery or use of a gift voucher by email:
The complaint should include a description of the problem and the details needed to identify the purchase, if available.
Health Centar will respond to a consumer's written complaint within the period prescribed by the applicable regulations.
19. Changes to the terms
Health Centar reserves the right to amend these Terms to reflect changes in its business, range of services, sales methods or applicable regulations.
Each purchase is subject to the terms in force at the time the contract was concluded, unless otherwise provided by law.
20. Final provisions
These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia.
Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by the Health Centar General Terms and Conditions and the applicable regulations of the Republic of Croatia.
